Notes:

1. Baileywick is retiring of his own accord.

2. His job will be passed along to Violet.

3. Nigel is moving in to the castle permanently.

4. Nigel and Cordelia strike up an interesting friendship, and they use it to their advantage to tease their siblings.

5. Cedric and Baileywick will become closer friends after the steward's retirement.

6. Nigel will reveal some interesting tidbits about his life. (Not mentioned in the story, but may be mentioned later on.)

7. Baileywick is many retirement gifts, which he reluctantly accepts after much insisting.

8. This is one of the few times Baileywick will exhibit such a vast range of emotions: sadness, excitement, anger, embarrassment, etc.
