1. The princess's full name (revealed in the story) is an homage to a variety of people in both Amber's and Desmond's lives, including Sofia. The baby's first name is actually a variation on my actual grandmother's first name.

 

2. The baby's birthday is December 28 (my grandmother's birthday).

3. The same affliction that cost Lorelei her life when delivering the twins will be a high concern for Amber's family and the castle staff.

4. The baby has blonde hair like her parents and Amber's eyes.

5. Because Sofia has no interest in becoming queen, the child will be second in line to the throne, right after Amber (1st) and James will follow (3rd). James may choose to abdicate his right to the throne, though the child will still be second in line.
